Biosketch: Jack is a rising junior from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, though his Midwestern roots run deep—having previously called both Ohio and Michigan home. After a magical first summer with the Crawdads (5-6 year olds), he is beyond excited to return as a Mergansers (7-8 year olds) Counselor, as well as a member of the ICOM Student Manager team! Back on campus, Jack works as both a tour guide and a freshman RA. He also spent this past academic year serving as an AmeriCorps member at the San Mateo County Superior Court, where he assisted self-represented litigants—particularly survivors of domestic violence—in preparing restraining orders and navigating complex legal processes. Jack has long been drawn to themes of justice and representation—values that first took root during high school, when he spent a year living and working in Washington, D.C. as a United States Senate Page. An Eagle Scout and lifelong lover of the outdoors, Jack is always looking for his next adventure! He spent his summer before college in Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and is planning a Mount Everest basecamping trek for next year. Jack can't wait to reconnect with returning faces, meet new ones, and help build the kind of community that makes Camp such a special place!
