Lillian Ruth Mack
Hometown: Lafayette, Louisiana
Major: Psychology, Biology minor
Three things I love to do at Stanford outside of class: Baking, taking care of my plants, planning fun events for various communities!
I could talk all day about: Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, baking, old-school music, visual and performing arts, child development, food, early childhood education, agriculture & gardening, line dancing, nature, books!
I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Medicine, Non-profits, Neuroscience, Nature connection, Biology, alternative mental health therapies
Biosketch: Lillian (she/her) is so hype to be back at Sierra Camp this summer as a proud Marmots counselor and one of the Coordinators for Intentional Community Building! During the school year, she studies Psychology and Biology with an interest in Neuroscience, and she's passionate about how identity, culture, and mental health connect, especially in marginalized communities. Outside the classroom, she serves as President of a new Black student organization (SoulBAC) and is a neighborhood council representative, working to build more inclusive and joyful spaces wherever she is. She loves getting to know guests who are into medicine, psychology, or biology, and is always down to nerd out about the brain or swap fun facts of any kind. When she’s not at camp or studying, you can find her baking, reading a good book, or getting creative with arts and crafts. She’s always up for a milkshake, a laugh with staph and guests, or a spontaneous deep conversation. Come say hi; she can’t wait to meet you (maybe again, because she has a terrible memory. please forgive her)!
