Biosketch: Ethan is a junior in Engineering Physics who, depending on the day, is either modeling how radar penetrates Europa's ice shell, tutoring someone through Calculus 2, rehearsing a play he co-wrote, or painting something he won't show anyone. Before Stanford he grew up in a small mountain town in Utah where he earned his Eagle Scout, won a state title in Science Olympiad with a catapult called "The Little Doctor," took first place at a vocal competition singing classical, and co-wrote a play that premiered at the local theatre while he was graduating high school (it came back for a second run last fall). He paints, flies drones, is learning to fly actual planes, and designs escape rooms for fun. He's from a big family and sings Sinatra at the drop of a hat. He is extremely stoked for camp.
