Elise Miller

Hometown: Escondido, CA

Major: Civil & Environmental Engineering BS, Atmosphere/Energy MS

Position: Ospreys

Three things I love to do: Read fiction novels, surf (badly), and line/swing dance

I could talk all day about: Energy efficiency, weather systems, clouds, sustainabiliy

I would love to connect with guests about: Energy law, venture capital for sustainabiliy, energy econ, atmospheric sciences

Biosketch: Elise (she/her) is so so SO excited to be returning to camp for a third summer, this year as an Ospreys counselor! After two summers in the chicken (and a brief stint as a crafts instructor) she cannot wait to be back at camp. When she wasn’t cheffing it up in the chicken, Elise was most frequently found running up and down Fallen Leaf Road, dancing around at bingo, or lounging out by the lake! Elise loves to spend her time playing volleyball, line/swing dancing, and hiking! Elise is a coterm studying Civil and Environmental Engineering in the Atmosphere/Energy program, and looks forward to using her degrees to pursue sustainability and energy efficiency. Otherwise, much of her time on campus was spent on Stanford's varsity track & field team as a hurdler/jumper. Ask her anything about sports, overnight preparation, or camp!
