Natalia Rodriguez
Hometown: LA, CA
Major: Political Science
Three things I love to do at Stanford outside of class: Playing Monopoly with my friends in the dorm (things get intense), jamming out with the Stanford Band (LSJUMB always brings the chaos in the best way), and taking night jogs through the quiet campus -- it’s my favorite way to clear my head and soak in how lucky I am to be here.
I could talk all day about: Hiking trails, running, volleyball, modern versus contemporary art, astrology, astronomy, music
I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: Public Service, Politics, Sustainability, East Asian Languages/politics, International relations, International security
Biosketch: Natalia is from Los Angeles, California, where she was born and raised. She loves running marathons (and any length of race as long as there's a medal), gelato and the color pink! She loves to write, and hopes to one day sit down and finish writing a novel! She loves to learn new languages and travel with her friends or family. On campus, she's the Women's Volleyball Team Manager, and also works as a Farm Games Herd Leadership Member -- which is a student led organization to help bridge the gap between students and athletes that hosts sports competitions for neighborhoods to compete for medals and championship rings! She is working as an Office Staph at camp this year, and is super open to talk about how her identities as First Generation and Low Income at Stanford have shaped her experience. Feel free to approach her for conversations about anything and everything: she loves talking to and meeting new people.
