Audrey Knowles
Hometown: Mill Valley, CA
Major: Data Science & Social Systems (Climate/Environment focus)
Three things I love to do at Stanford outside of class: play on the club soccer team, flip hundreds of hotdogs and pancakes with Street Meat, loiter at Tress with friends and a CoHo iced mocha in hand
I could talk all day about: hiking/backpacking, traveling, Modern Family, Catan, my golden retriever (River), why we should all throw our phones away, SF Giants, EMT stories
I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: firefighting, emergency medicine, search & rescue, outdoor leadership, anything Australia related (need recs!)
Biosketch: Audrey is a rising junior, born and raised just north of San Francisco, and actually attended Sierra Camp as a 3-5 yr old (strongest memory is the milkshakes from the Fountain). On campus, she is the goalkeeper for the Club Soccer team, cooks with Street Meat (a campus catering group), leads trips with the Adventure Program, and loves playing card games, board games, and MarioKart with friends! She is an avid outdoor enthusiast and loves exploring new places, whether that's a new country or a new campground in NorCal. Audrey worked as a camp counselor in her hometown for the last 4 summers so she is STOKED to be bringing all these passions together as a Crawdads counselor this summer!
