Three things I love to do: Robber barons sketch comedy, coho-ing with friends, and going for a walk around the lake!

I could talk all day about: Tech & Geopolitics, Science Fiction, & people's journeys through life (I love learning about where folks come from and how that influences where they end up!)

I would love to connect with guests about: AI (in particular, trust & safety around AI systems/ AI geopolitics)! Really anything related to tech policy/ strategy

Biosketch: Aylin grew up in Boise, Idaho, originally, and then moved to the Bay Area in second grade. She lives in Redwood Shores, CA, right next to a "swamp" (technically termed: a slough! (s-LOO))! She loves spending time outside (especially the swamp!), going for walks with an audiobook, and reading whatever science fiction novel she's on. At Stanford, she discovered a passion for international security and got involved in research with a couple of different labs. Outside of academics, she loves performing in the Robber Barons Sketch Comedy group and meeting new people. Aylin loves to learn about people's backgrounds and can't wait to get to know our wonderful guests!
