Biosketch: Isa is just a small town girl from a not-so-lonely world. At the southern tip of Texas, Isa has spent her whole life swimming at the beach, baking up a storm in her kitchen, and going to the rodeo with her best friends. She's a lover girl to say the least, with her heart full of Raising Cane's, Mexican culture, music appreciation, and infinite love for her friends and family. Coming from an underserved community, she has a relentless drive to build a better life for herself and her family, as well as strong passion to create a more equitable, diverse medical system. In the meantime, she is a lab assistant for Cardinal Free Clinics, plays in the marching band, serves on the community service committee for Hermanas de Stanford, and acts as the Social Chair for the Northern California chapter of the Heart and Mind Foundation. She is definitely an open book, so she would love to talk about anything under the sun or answer any questions you have for her. She's so excited to meet you and learn about everything that makes you the wonderful people that you are!
