Eva Lieberman

Hometown: Portland, OR

Major: Biology - Ecology, Evolution, and Environment

Three things I love to do at Stanford outside of class:
Searching for fruit trees on campus, riding horses, winning rugby championships

I could talk all day about: Classic horror movies, Search and Rescue, sheep grazing, wilderness medicine, plant taxonomy, old country and folk music, agrobiodiversity, public land use, Oregon!

I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: Agriculture, environmental research, rangeland/public land management, conservation

Biosketch: Eva is a rising Junior born and raised in Portland, Oregon, who could not be more excited for her first summer working at Camp! She spent last summer in the middle of nowhere surrounded by sheep doing rangeland research, where she discovered a passion for studying plants and managing the land for future generations. On campus, she spends her time gallivanting around the Dish and Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve and somehow getting course credit for it. She stays busy as a part of the Stanford Women's Rugby and Stanford Equestrian teams, where she has found incredible community, many bruises, and a few trophies. In her free time, Eva is a mediocre knitter, an avid enjoyer of scary books and movies, and a hiker of very big hills.
