Three things I love to do at Stanford outside of class: 1) Play steel pan! 🎶

2) Go on runs around Lake Lagunita 🏃‍♀️📡

3) Learn how to swing/line dance at social dance events with friends 🕺🪩

I could talk all day about: Hiking, photography, anything related to ecology, Jordan (the country, not the shoes! :)), history (of any kind, I’m always curious to learn more), and films!

I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: Sustainability, water quality management, renewable energy, engineering in general :)

Biosketch: Deena is a freshman from the Mile High City: Denver, CO! She loves to hike, take photos, and explore new places with her friends. She can’t resist late night chats and runs to get food! On campus, she’s involved with Cardinal Calypso (the university’s Caribbean steel pan ensemble), the Asian Women’s Alliance, tour guiding,and research on local heavy metal toxins. She is super excited to get to know everyone at camp and welcomes anyone to approach her for a lively conversation!!
