I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: Anything STEM! I have been uniquely fascinated with almost every field in STEM at some point in my life or another, and I would love to hear about everything from esoteric theoretical math to cell biology and contemporary psychology.
Biosketch: Christopher (he/him) ('28) is thrilled to experience Sierra Camp for the first time with y'all this summer! He knew he needed (not wanted) to be a Sierra Camp Counselor from the moment he first saw Fallen Leaf Lake in middle school, and somehow, he's made it! In high school, Christopher studied early childhood development and spent time in local preschool classrooms, and he is very excited to leverage his mastered finger-painting skills with the Guppies this summer. When he isn't doing arts and crafts (poorly, most likely) with the Guppies, you can find Christopher binge-reading poorly written e-novels and rock climbing as much as possible, if only to pester his favorite (number one out of one!) older sister. When he isn't preoccupied being the best little brother to ever exist, he attempts to live out his Disney-princess fantasies by taming the local wildlife. Over the past year, Christopher spontaneously chose to host and nurture a few caterpillars in his dorm room, so you might spot him awkwardly crouched over a patch of weeds, searching for the perfect leaves to bring back to his charges. He loves to talk (too much, maybe) and can't wait to meet y'all and chat about everything and anything!
