Eva Lacey
Hometown: Larkspur, CA
Major: Economics and Public Policy
Three things I love to do at Stanford outside of class: Exploring all of the paths around and through campus, early morning ocean dips with friends, and playing beach volleyball at least twice a week!
I could talk all day about: Intentional community building, the intricacies of Taylor swift lyrics, Trader Joe’s, finding joy in the little things, making a just transition to clean energy, and the criminal justice system
I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: Climate policy, government, the non-profit sector, criminal justice reform, and law (should she go to law school?! Please help her decide!!)
Biosketch: When asked about her favorite place in the world, Eva will always say SSC. After an incredible first summer working ski dock she is stocked to be back for round two! At camp her favorite activities are exploring desolation wilderness, helping guests learn new skills, playing beach volleyball and wearing glitter 24/7. On campus you can find Eva planning the next class of 2027 event, the Haas center, or doing her work at On Call Cafe! She has two younger sisters who she loves, and two golden retrievers that she also thinks of as siblings. Eva is passionate about creating a stronger democracy and mitigating the effects of climate change and would love to discuss all things current events! She is so excited to be back and can’t wait to make many more lifelong memories!
