Biosketch: Melanie is an incoming sophomore from New Orleans, Louisiana. Growing up in NOLA, Melanie developed a deep love for sports, amazing food (the best in the country if you ask her), and art. During the school year, she studies Mechanical Engineering with an increasing interest in the intersection of materials science with aerospace engineering and wearable technologies. In her free time she enjoys playing games, discovering new music, swimming, being outdoors, reading, building legos, and hanging out with friends. She is excited to kick off her first year at camp as a Chickarees counselor and create memories with all of you on the lake! She’s thrilled to connect and can’t wait to meet you all!
