Quentin McEvoy
Hometown: Billings, MT
Major: Mechanical Engineering
Three things I love to do at Stanford outside of class: Climbing at Farrillaga, working in my hammock, early morning surf trips
I could talk all day about: Montana, rafting stories, climbing, hikes to go on, the importance of boredom, Dr. Bronner's as the universal toiletry, and SpongeBob
I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: Rural engagement, renewable energy/energy systems, leadership, outdoor education, engineering, sustainability, and ANYTHING you are involved with!
Biosketch: Quentin is no stranger to an electric time. As the youngest of four boys, he grew up with an innate urge to be curious, energetic, and talkative! Spending his upbringing in Montana and Colorado, he quickly found his passion for exploring, protecting, and sharing the beauty of Earth with others. This realization led him to become a Raft Guide on the Colorado River, and now a Stapher at Camp! On the Farm, he works as an Outdoor Trip Leader and is heavily involved with the Stanford Rural Engagement Network. On the side, he enjoys remodeling his van, Karl, going on wild adventures, and trying new things. Please reach out to him with any and all questions, curiosities, or whatever else comes to mind. He is thrilled to be working camp—and, more importantly, to meet YOU!
