Biosketch: Addie Pendergast is a rising Sophomore who grew up in Northern Wyoming near the base of the Big Horn Mountains. She grew up hiking, skiing, camping, going to the lake, and playing nearly every sport. Now she's a sprinter/ hurdler on the Stanford Track and Field team. Addie plans on studying the interdisciplinary major Data Science and Social Systems while focusing on the applications of Data Science. Outside of her academic and professional interests, she’s a reader of classics—favorites include John Irving and Jane Austen—and is always looking for book recommendations. She enjoys films and music across genres, with a soft spot for Frank Ocean, the Lumineers, Bill Withers, The Beatles, and the Pixies.
