Simone Jacot-Bell
Hometown: San Francisco CA / Evanston IL
Major: Sociology
Three things I love to do at Stanford outside of class: Sit in the sun at Terman Fountain, Walk to Town and Country for an acai bowl, and attend events with live music (love student bands)!
I could talk all day about: Community Organizing and music you're listening to!
I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: Film and media, and marketing.
Biosketch: Simone Jacot-Bell is an incoming junior majoring in Sociology with a strong interest in Film and Media—particularly the intersection of creativity and business within the industry. Originally from San Francisco, CA, she moved to Evanston, IL just before high school, but still proudly identifies as a California girl at heart. Passionate about all things music, she’s always eager to spark conversations with guests about their current musical interests.
On campus, Simone serves as Co-Director of Blackfest, Stanford’s annual free hip-hop festival, and is an active member of the Xi Beta chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She finds joy in life’s simple pleasures—a well-made latte, a sun filled reading spot, and a great thrift find. She’s excited to connect and can’t wait to meet you all!
