Janet Rivas Reza
Hometown: Durango, Mexico
Major: Artificial intelligence + Digital User Experience
Three things I love to do at Stanford outside of class: I enjoy playing board games, listening to music, and playing video games.
I could talk all day about: Astrology and History!
I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: Education and public service. But honestly, I’d be excited to connect with anyone, regardless of their field. I believe there’s something valuable to learn from every path-- as long as you haven’t gone to Berkeley. 🤪
Biosketch: Janet Rivas Reza is an undergraduate student at Stanford University, originally from Durango, Mexico, majoring in AI and human-centered design. From her journey to the U.S. as an unaccompanied minor to navigating life as a first-generation, low-income college student, Janet has developed a strong commitment to education and social impact. This summer, she’s thrilled to be at camp, and truly, there’s no other place she’d rather be.
