Angelina Sorensen

Hometown: San Francisco, CA

Major: Mechanical Engineering

Three things I love to do at Stanford outside of class: long walks with audiobooks/podcasts, play Bananagrams with anyone and everyone, take friends to San Francisco and show them around on public transportation

I could talk all day about: girl scout cookies!! anything book related, neoclassical and antifolk music, sculpture!

I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: engineering, computer science, biotech, design

Biosketch: Angelina is a rising sophomore and a Guppies counselor! She spends the majority of her free time reading and making sculptures (primarily woodworking, metalworking, and small jewelry). Angelina has always been interested in math and science. She especially loves physics because she loves the way it’s able to explain almost everything in the universe! Angelina also loves to sing! She was part of the San Francisco Girls Chorus for 7 years and on campus, she’s part of Stanford’s Mixed Company acappella group. MixedCo is like a family to her and she is super excited to be MixedCo’s music director next year. Angelina was also a Girl Scout for 12 years. She absolutely loved selling cookies, and twice was the top cookie seller of Northern California (around 40,000 girls). She would be thrilled to talk to any parents considering Girl Scouting for their daughters! It was genuinely one of the most valuable things she did growing up. Angelina is super excited for camp and she can’t wait to meet each one of you!
