Nayeli Chapa
Hometown: San Diego, CA
Major: Biioengineering
Three things I love to do at Stanford outside of class: 1. Singing in A Capella
2. Playing Volleyball/Catch
3. Having late night conversations with friends
I could talk all day about: Pretty much anything (I am a D1 yapper). However, some of my particular favorite topics include: bioengineering and ethics, women and immigrant rights, sociology and psychology, nature and environmental protection, poetry, dogs, music (all genres), and how the Padres will win the World Series 2025.
I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: - Bioengineering
- Medicine: work with cardiovascular and/or renal disease, anesthesiology, psychiatry, etc.
- Environmental Engineering
- Film
Biosketch: Coming back for her second consecutive year, it is no secret that Nayeli is passionate about all the magic camp has to offer. This year she is excited to join the Crawdad's and embark on a wonderful journey filled with pirates, fairies, and beyond.
As a San Diego native, she loves all things outdoors. Her days are mostly spent enjoying the warm sunshine and cool breezes California has to offer alongside a game of volleyball, pickleball, or a round of catch.
Nayeli is super stoked to meet you all and looks forward to another amazing summer at Sierra Camp.
